Celebrity chef Guy Fieri is gearing up for Super Bowl LVIII with a free tailgate party behind the High Roller observation wheel at The Linq on the Las Vegas Strip. The event will feature live music, over 20 restaurant pop-ups, and is expected to draw around 15,000 fans, a significant increase from the 10,000 attendees at the 2023 Super Bowl tailgate in Phoenix.
The Flavortown Tailgate, set to begin at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 11 and run until the game starts at 3:30 p.m., will include performances by DJ and record producer Diplo, and rising country star Dustin Lynch. Fieri, known for his spiky hair and popular Food Network shows, is a huge fan of football and hopes to create a dream event for fellow football enthusiasts.
Fieri, who operates four restaurants on the Strip and a fifth at Allegiant Stadium, has partnered with Shaquille O’Neal’s live event platform, Medium Rare, and PepsiCo to bring the tailgate to life. The partnership will include an oversized Pepsi cocktail bar and other sponsor collaborations such as the Sunday Slider Cookout, offering free sliders served on King’s Hawaiian rolls.
The event is free for fans of all ages, with no Super Bowl tickets required for entry. However, registration is necessary, and VIP tickets and hospitality packages will also be available for purchase. The tailgate has already generated excitement, with Fieri expressing his passion for the event and football season. He told People magazine, “This tailgate really is a dream come true. I’m so passionate about football. I look forward to football season. I wish we could just have it all year round. I’d be the happiest person in the world.”
Fans can sign up to attend Guy’s Flavortown Tailgate on its official website, where VIP tickets and hospitality packages are also available for purchase starting Tuesday. With the promise of a lively atmosphere, great food, and live music, the tailgate is expected to be a hit with football fans and food enthusiasts alike.
