The company revealed that during the race on Saturday night, real-time pole position data will be displayed, along with the drivers’ helmets and a unique “custom podium moment” to celebrate the race winner.
The Sphere, known as the site of the T-Mobile Zone on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit, will play a significant role in the upcoming event. The race itself will wind around the globular theater at turns five through nine, adding a dynamic element to the racing experience.
The Sphere recently conducted a practice run, during which it displayed live cues in response to the Netflix Cup golf tournament and handed over control of the world’s largest LED display to a third party. Since the Sphere’s debut on July 4, it has had complete control over all of its content.

In addition to displaying real-time pole positions and thrilling podium celebrations, the Sphere will feature larger-than-life cards showcasing all 20 drivers and their cars. It will also transform into helmets from each driver, serving as selfie backdrops for fans in attendance.
