DraftKings and TUMS Partner to Launch Super Bowl Snack Betting Game

Betting on sports and indulging in Super Bowl snacks may cause heartburn, but now, DraftKings and antacid maker TUMS have collaborated to create a new free-to-play game called TUMS Prop Bites.

The game, inspired by popular proposition wagers, will allow participants to bet on categories such as pizza deliveries on Super Bowl Sunday and other items related to food and snack consumption on the day of the big game. Players have the potential to win a share of $10,000 in prizes. Registration for the contest opened on January 16 and runs through February 11.

Jay Danahy, DraftKings’ head of brand partnerships and ad operations, stated, “Food is a key part of the Big Game experience for fans watching at home and TUMS Prop Bites creates an authentic extension of what DraftKings is all about, providing customers with more ways to engage with the events they love.”

The partnership between DraftKings and TUMS aims to bring a touch of kitsch to proposition wagers. Traditionally, prop bets on the NFL can include anything from anytime touchdowns to over/under on receiving yards. Prop bets for the Super Bowl, the most wagered-on sporting event in the U.S., can include wagers on the result of the coin flip, the color of the sports drink the winning coach gets doused in, and the length of the halftime show, among other “oddball” items.

The TUMS Prop Bites game is open to participants who are at least 18 years old.

To add some star power to the game, comedian Desus Nice has been recruited as the official “tipster” of the contest. Desus Nice expressed, “Let’s be real, a lot of people watch the Big Game for the food and the vibes, and now TUMS is giving this audience an opportunity to go all in on food, without the worry of heartburn, and a chance to win cash prizes.”

In addition to the game, DraftKings and TUMS will host a Prop Bites Food Casino at Circa Stadium Swim at Circa Las Vegas on Friday, February 9.

Overall, the partnership between DraftKings and TUMS aims to provide football fans with a unique and entertaining way to engage with the Super Bowl, all while having fun and potentially winning some cash prizes.
